Absolutely perfect
This is the most interesting choral collection I have heard in ages. There is an impeccably clean quality that is impossible to forget while keeping you suspended with the surprising twists. I've been listening to it over and over since I bought it and am definitely keeping up with this Tarik O'Regan -- God knows we need some fresh and talented voice to revive us.
The best choir with the best music
What a combination! It's like the perfect team - producer/composer/director/choir. Everything comes together here and it's very varied all the way through in terms of pace and style. Definitely a voice to keep watching!
Already my disc of the year
Like others, I think, I heard extracts from this on MPR recently and it just blew me away. The singing is so clear, yet resonant and the music is really just something so new to me (and others). The main thing is that it's not the usual slow stuff that seems to pour out of the speakers when new choral music is released - a lot of this disc is rhythmically interesting and really vibrant. 10/10!
